SOLAR SYSTEMS
A Solar System can save you hundreds of dollars in power costs, a suitably sized system will pay for itself in approximately five years and will significantly reduce your carbon footprint. Government incentives are still available and can reduce installation costs by as much as 20%. Investing in an installation now will guarantee significant reductions in electricity costs for many years. To be eligible for Government incentives, solar installations are required to meet Clean Energy Council (CEC) Standards and must use CEC approved products.
Riverina Solar Power provides a COMPLETE solar installation service – our designers conduct a site visit to calculate the size of the unit required and site suitability. An unshaded, north facing aspect is optimal. We submit the applications necessary to proceed with a solar installation on the customer’s behalf, our CEC accredited installers oversee 100% of the installation work and install the appropriate metering. Riverina Solar Power will also trade your STC’s. If any warranty issues arise we attend to them as soon as possible.
Solar Servicing and repairs
State and Federal Governments have offered generous grants and rebates over the last few years resulting in a lot of money being on offer in the solar industry. As a consequence many installers suddenly appeared, installed systems, took the money and were never seen again, thus leaving customers high and dry with regard to ongoing system maintenance. Riverina Solar Power can service existing solar systems, offering an annual system check that includes panel cleaning and a thorough componentry check. Insignificant things such as bird droppings, leaves and dust can affect the output of a system. Our service area includes Temora, West Wyalong, Cootamundra, Young, Ariah Park, Barmedman and outlying villages.
Our advice is to always use licenced and accredited designers and installers.
On completion of your installation ensure you receive an information pack showing serial numbers and brands of inverter/s and panels and containing a Certificate of Compliance (a form completed by the installing electrician signing off that the installation is electrically sound). Don’t be lured by inexpensive quotes and a slick sales pitch
